Malaysian Flag Raising Ceremony in Conjunction with Malaysia’s 52nd Independence Day

On behalf of The Malaysian Government, MSD Chicago honors Hari Merdeka because of determination of Malaysians to end foreign rule more than half a century ago. On August 31, 1957, independence was proclaimed in Stadium Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur, and Malaysia was free to determine its own destiny.

Cordially, we invite everybody to participate in the Flag Raising ceremony to celebrate the 52nd. Merdeka Day at downtown Chicago as follows:
